Hwrt is alpha software. YHBW.

Description — What Hwrt Is

Hwrt is a hypertext web replication tool. Well, it was; now, it does a couple more things… but at least they are related.

Features — The Hwrt Inside

Hwrt boasts (though never in polite company) the following features:

Downloads — How to Get Hwrt

I'd love for you to get Hwrt, but don't blame me if'n-when you do: the sta[b]le Hwrt distribution (tar.gz|tar.bz2|zip), too. is released under version 2 of the GNU General Public License. Hwrt is free software. Real masochists should look at the development version of Hwrt (tar.gz|tar.bz2|zip), too.

Instructions — This Won't Hwrt a Bit

That's what my dentist used to say, anyway… and he lied every time. Indeed, Hwrt may have some bugs somewhere — and they'll be a lot easier to spot with your help. To ease the pain of learning how to use a new program, I have put together a page with some tips on using Hwrt. Note that the online manual describes the latest development release; the functionality of the sta[b]le release is described in the HOWTO file from the corresponding tarball.

Support and Development — Hwrt on the Web

Believe it or not, any question or suggestion regarding Hwrt is most welcome. Here are the focal points of Hwrt support and development:

freshmeat.net
Here, you can post comments and questions, as well as rate the project. If you subscribe to the project, Freshmeat will notify you of new releases and I will be able to send you mail to warn you of any show-stopping bugs or to ask for your opinion when implementing new features. If you prefer not to subscribe, you can keep up with Hwrt development by watching the NEWS file.
advogato.org
If you get involved in Hwrt development, you'll be able to confess your sins here. To become a contributor, you should write to me, directly; you will find the email address in the README file of either sta[b]le or the development distribution.

1 Right now, this means that Hwrt can discover the index file name if it is set in a relevant access file, as well as leave a file out of the sitemap if access to its directory is restricted.
