Hi, Last night, I wrote a poem, And I posted it on *every* Site you regularly visit To make sure you would not miss it. I had hoped that you would find it And then write to me to tell me That you knew I was the author, That you recognized my style. ;) But, alas, as of this morning, You have not so much as noticed Though I do this every night. :( So, of course, you have not written -- Not to tell me that you liked it Or just even that you read it, Much less own that you would like to Get to know the one who wrote it. So I'm writing just to tell you That I've taken down my poems (*Not* to spite you) and to thank you For inspiring me to write them. Yours, A.
